Audition Readiness Workshop

Date: Feb 23, 2020 5:00-6:30 PM

Location: Kentlands Carriage House 321 Kent Square Road, Gaithersburg, MD

Cost: $20 per class

Have you ever walked into an audition wondering how you could have better prepared? Didn’t get a part you longed for? Do you have a monologue that needs work? This workshop is for you! Come to the Kentlands Carriage House 5-6:30 PM February 23rd to work on your audition skills and audition readiness with techniques taught by Kentlands Community Players’ resident instructor, Natasha Mirny.

Natasha is a stage director, choreographer, performer, and founder of the Happy Theater. She started her career as a stage director of one of the largest puppet theaters in Moscow, Russia and has been running her small professional theatrical company since 2011. Natasha is a dedicated teacher who works with students of all ages. Her background is in pantomime, puppetry, and physical theater. Natasha teaches at several theaters and Arts Integration programs in DC metro area – Synetic, Imagination Stage, Arts on The Horizon, Wolf Trap, Inner City Inner Child. She is also a faculty member at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts.

Presentation Skills Workshop

Does the thought of speaking in front of a large crowd (or even a small one) fill you with anxiety? Would better presentation skills make you a better leader, student, or performer? This workshop is for you! Come to the Kentlands Carriage House 5-6:30 PM March 15th to work on your audition skills and audition readiness with techniques taught by Kentlands Community Players’ resident instructor, Natasha Mirny.
